What's the best way to make sure your coaches and teammates are awake and engaged at 6:30 in the morning? How about dressing up as an MSU football mannequin from head to toe, and then jumping out and scaring the heck out of them?

Check out MSU head coach Mark Dantonio's reaction when the mannequin jumps out at him and catches him completely off guard. I guess that's one way to get the coach to remember you…

Senior quarterback Andrew Maxwell seems to handle the scare pretty well, but the same can't be said for freshman running backs Riley Bullough and Gerald Holmes. I thought those guys were supposed to be fearless, right?

The Spartans open the 2013 season vs. Western Michigan at 8p.m. ET Friday, Aug. 30 on BTN/BTN2Go.
