Video: NU's Omar Jimenez wins rap battle on Fallon

Northwestern’s Omar Jimenez goes by “O.J. Tropicana” on stage. Yes, he has a rap name. The CNN International intern and Northwestern journalism student put his talents on display Friday on Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel. And, let’s just say, he didn’t disappoint. Jimenez won the “Battle of the Instant Rappers.” His song: “Breakfast for Dinner.”

Watch Jimenez perform and win the event here.

The guy has talent. He also seems to be in his element performing and entertaining. For the worriers, no, that wasn’t a swear at the end; it was a “Funkin GoNuts!” which is a running joke Fallon uses to refer to Dunkin’ Donuts.

His performance was very good on the Jimmy Fallon show. Can you also post his interview with Nischelle Turner on Headline News Showbiz Tonight on August 15, 2013? It was the 11 P.M. Show.
