We?re 19 days from the 2013 football season kicking off. Indiana (Indiana State) and Minnesota (UNLV) get things started for the Big Ten on Thursday, Aug. 29 on BTN/BTN2Go. To help count down the days to kickoff, BTN.com is ranking the top 25 players. Join us as we count it down, from 25-1, every day.

No. 19: Spencer Long, G, Nebraska

A former walk-on, Spencer Long is the leader of an experienced Nebraska front that will pave the way for arguably the Big Ten's most prolific and balanced offense. A 2012 second-team All-America, Long is one of the Big Ten's premier guards, and his 6-4, 315-pound frame makes life so much easier on quarterback Taylor Martinez – both as a passer and runner – and Nebraska's stable of talented running backs. This Nebraska offense will be fun to watch, and Long will be doing much of the dirty work to help make it happen.
