A month ago, pictures surfaced of Ohio State football jerseys that featured Buckeye Leaves on the back of the collar. There was some question about the authenticity, though, and at the time a school spokesman told BTN.com that the team had no updates regarding uniforms.

Mark McClure, of The Buckeye Room, the Columbus retail store that posted the pictures, said the jerseys were officially licensed from Nike and would be worn this season.

And they will. BTN's Derek Reinglass took the photo below from our visit today to Ohio State practice. Why seven leaves, you ask? It's the number of national titles the program claims (1942, 1954, 1957, 1961, 1968, 1970, 2002).
