Former Penn State guard Jermaine Marshall is planning to transfer to Arizona State. Marshall, the Nittany Lions' second-leading scorer last season, announced in May that he was forgoing his final year of eligibility to pursue a professional career overseas.

The 6-foot-4 guard is now headed to Arizona State instead, as long as he fulfills requirements to graduate this summer.

Marshall averaged 15.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists as a junior at Penn State.

If he does graduate and become eligible, Marshall would likely be a starter for the Sun Devils alongside Jahii Carson in what could become one of the nation's best backcourts.
