The rosters for the 2013 MLB All-Star Game were announced Saturday night, and a pair of Big Ten products made the cut. Former Minnesota pitcher Glen Perkins, now with the Minnesota Twins, and ex-Nebraska 3B Alex Gordon, now with the Kansas City Royals, both first-time representatives, were named to the Midsummer Classic at 8 p.m. ET July 16 at Citi Field.
Alex Gordon is 5th ex-Husker to make MLB All-Star Game, joining Bob Cerv ('58), Tim Burke ('89), Darin Erstad ('98,'00) and Ken Harvey (00).—
