Twitter: Mark Wahlberg visits Wolverines

Actor Mark Wahlberg is in Michigan shooting “Transformers 4,” so what does a big-time sports fan do when he has free time in such a situation? He visits the Michigan football team, of course. Wahlberg hung out with the Wolverines on Wednesday at Schembechler Hall. See tweets and a video from Wahlberg’s visit in this post.

Clearly, Jonathan, you know nothing about Michigan fans. We know what times we can be arrogant and times we have to be respectful to other football programs and their fan bases. It’s one of the reasons why out of conference fan bases (other than ND) always give us high marks on their visit to the Big House and always think we are a respectful and hospitable fan base. The Buckeyes, and their crude and classless fans, are another story though.

Big Brother: If you think that there aren’t disrespectful and inhospitable Michigan fans then you are just an arrogant Michigan Fan… By and large Ohio State and Michigan have great fans, there is just a few to ruin it for the rest of us. I will say that more Michigan fans are treated poorly at OSU games than typical and I would wager the same goes for OSU fans at Michigan. Most universities have good fan bases.

@Big Brother – Nice, “classless” jab at OSU fans. The bitterness and contempt in your tone, displays your arrogance and lack of this so-called “respect” you show other fans and their fan bases. All fan bases have groups that are classless and do not represent the fan base as a whole. Many enjoy the rivalry and can root for their team and against the other with some good-natured fun included, without crossing the line. I have experienced both types at the Big House and the Shoe, among other venues. BTW, out of conference fan bases have said the same regarding Buckeye fans.

Did he also visit the local Walmart?

Yeahhh it’s all friends and fans and what not but we all know the real reason Wahlberg is here, which is to try and understand UofM’s secrets to GETTING HUGE AND JACKED. You came to the right place Mr. Marky Mark.

Jonathan is an idiot! Mark you are a class act guy and Thanks for being true!

Jonathan on 7/8/2013 @ 3:29pm EDT Said:

So apparently it’s okay for Cory to call me an idiot, but when I try to make a sarcastic remark , whoa, that’s going too far! (I had made a remark that the “moderator” never approved)
