Nebraska will don a new adidas TECHFIT alternate uniform for its home game vs. UCLA on Sept. 14, the company and the Huskers announced Tuesday.

The uniform features a white helmet, with a black stripe down the middle, a black jersey and white pants, with a black stripe down the side of the legs.

It's no surprise to see so much black implemented on a Nebraska alternate uniform, considering the Huskers defense is nicknamed "The Blackshirts."

This one features even more black than last year's alternate vs. Wisconsin. It's also a better design than that all-red pajama-like look that others seemed to enjoy more than yours truly.

Like last year's game vs. Wisconsin, adidas is marketing UCLA-Nebraska as an "Unrivaled Game," which means the Bruins also will be wearing a TECHFIT alternate.
