Brady Hoke is a "Michigan Man," so he knows how to excite and pump up the fan base. The latest proof came Monday in Grand Rapids, Mich., where Hoke, while speaking to a group of Michigan alumni, had some interesting words for a longtime rival. Let's just say, Hoke isn't a big fan of the Michigan-Notre Dame series coming to an end after 2014.

Here's what the coach said about Notre Dame:

"We are fortunate to have unbelievable rivalry games at Michigan," Hoke said. "The Notre Dame game, that rivalry, which they're chickening out of. They're still going to play Michigan State, they're going to play Purdue, but they don't want to play Michigan. So, I don't know how they made that decision. I really do. But anyway."
