A trio of Nebraska pitchers combined for the team's first no-hitter since 1993 in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader sweep of No. 12 Arkansas. Kyle Kubat, in his first appearance of the season, went five innings, while relievers Tyler Niederklein and senior Dylan Vogt combined to throw the final four innings en route to a 3-0 victory.

The last combined no-hitter for NU came March 6, 1993, vs. Peru State. This marks the eighth no-hitter in school history, the fourth of which was of the combined variety.

Behind Blake Headley's eighth-inning pinch-hit home run, Nebraska carded a 4-2 win in the nightcap to sweep the doubleheader.
