The BTN Big 10K event in Chicago is back, and it's on Saturday, July 27. This year?s race will be televised on the Big Ten Network so dress up in your favorite school colors and compete for your Big Ten team in the 10K race or 5K run/walk. The BTN Big 10K features a Start Corral seeding process.  Participants can qualify to be placed in the Elite or one of three additional Preferred Start Corrals based on a 2011-2013 race result from one of the following distances: 5K, 8K, 10K, 10-Mile, half marathon or marathon or their expected 10K finish time as indicated during the online registration process.
