Louisville and Michigan don’t tip off for a few hours, but some vendor(s) have the NCAA championship t-shirts on display at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. See both shirts in this post.

How ’bout them Cardinals and The Big East making up half of The Final Four? I love IU, but I don’t think they made it in. Who did they lose to? I didn’t see MSU either, who beat them? The Big Ten was the best conference during the regular season – agreed. The BT had a great year and if one wishes to hang their proverbial hat on that, that’s perfectly fine. But the tournament decides which conferences are superior because every game is against another good team, from a different conference (until the E. E.) with a different scheme, thus the cream rises during the tournament and we see who is really who. There is no way that Ohio St should not have made the Final Four. I think of all of the BT teams, they had by far the easiest path. You can’t say the awesome start of the tournamnet validates the greatness of The Big Ten, and then say how the Big East performed better from the E. E., F.F. and the Championship doesn’t mean anything. You can’t have it both ways. The BT had a great year, but when all is said and done, in the end, The (late) Big East conference proved which conference was truely the best conference in basketball. It is the (former) Big East, and that debate for all intents-and-purposes, is settled. Good season, great game (except for the zebras).
