Michigan State improved its record to 16-13 overall and 2-0 in the Big Ten as it defeated Indiana 10-7 on Saturday afternoon. Wisconsin 3, Iowa 0: BOX
Runs, hits and solid pitching fueled the Badgers' win over Iowa in the series finale Saturday afternoon at Bob Pearl Field in Iowa City, Iowa. Michigan 18, Penn State 4 (5): BOX; Michigan 9, Penn State 6: BOXThe No. 14 University of Michigan softball team used big innings in game one of its doubleheader with Penn State and a big outing from sophomore catcher Lauren Sweet in game two to sweep the Nittany Lions, 18-4 and 9-6, at the Nittany Lion Softball Park on Saturday. Minnesota 14, Northwestern 9: BOX
Minnesota hit six home runs, with sophomore third baseman Kaitlyn Richardson and freshman right fielder Kayla Wenner each hitting two, as the Gophers defeated Northwestern, 14-9, on Saturday afternoon.

Purdue 8, Ohio State 7 (9): BOX
The Boilermakers softball team overcame a late-inning rally by Ohio State, pulling off an 8-7 nine-inning victory on Saturday to win the weekend series. Purdue led the game6-1 after five innings, but the Buckeyes came back to take a 7-6 lead in the seventh.
