Did You See This? Crazy finish to Indiana-Michigan

Late in Sunday’s game, it looked like Indiana was going to fall for the third time in four games. But then, Cody Zeller took over. The sophomore big man scored the game’s final six points, in the last 41 seconds, including the go-ahead bucket on a layup with 14 ticks remaining. The Wolverines had a couple shots at the the would-be game-winning bucket, but they couldn’t get the ball to go down. Watch the exciting finish here.

The finish was even more remarkable considering what was at stake. With the comeback win, Indiana wrapped up its first outright Big Ten title since 1993. If Indiana had lost, it would have shared the Big Ten crown with Michigan, Ohio State and Michigan State.

Forgot to mention Hardaway and Burke both missed the front end of one on one’s, costing Michigan the game.

Is it about time that the Big 10 and college basketball recognize that three 50 year old officials cannot keep up with the power and the speed of the game of basketball. Is it now time to add a fourth official to the game? It is just too fast for these guys, who try hard, to keep up!

Bo Borkowski is not a 50 year old ref, Tim. Kitts, yes, but no Bo. He is one of then best young refs in the conference. And what did the refs have to do with Michigan missing free throws anyway?

Apparently, you missed the moving pick Michigan set for Burke to drive into the lane at the end of the game that didn’t get called? I don’t believe the ref’s had any impact on Cody Keller taking the game over at the end of the game!

Jimmy Jackson – Thank you for giving Indiana you obligatory compliments. It’s apparent, you still have a chip on your shoulder over IU and Calbert Chaney!

Why didn’t you also show the clanked one-one free throws from your player of the year?

What about that screaming attack Crean made on a Michigan assistant coach after the game? Maniacal. Bet there won’t be any coverage of that on BTN.
