No. 4 seed Michigan State held off fifth-seeded Michigan 62-46 to advance to the Saturday's semifinals of the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament. It's the Spartans eighth trip to the semifinals in the past 10 seasons.

All four top tournament seeds advanced after two days of games. No. 2 Nebraska plays No. 3 Purdue while Michigan State faces top seed Penn State. Find the full bracket in this post, plus links to the rest of our coverage.

Klarissa Bell scored 20 points for Michigan State. Becca Mills and Jasmine Thomas added 10 points each for the fourth-seeded Spartans (23-7), who advance to face top-seeded Penn State in Saturday's semifinals. Nya Jordan scored 12 points and Rachel Sheffer had 10 for fifth-seeded Michigan (21-10), which split its two games with the Spartans during the regular season.
