Wisconsin unveiled its Hockey City Classic uniform early last month. On Tuesday night, it was Minnesota's turn. From an aesthetic perspective, it's clear, the Badgers and Gophers will delight in their respective throwbacks Sunday at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Minnesota's uniform is modeled after the 1960-61 team, and it's a classic design. Aside from the Nike swoosh under the collar, that is. Other than that, the uniform boasts several old-school qualities, from the drawstring collar, to the varsity stripes on the arms and around the waist, to the diagonal script "GOPHERS" across the front.

And to commemorate the special event, the Gophers will wear a Hockey City Classic patch on the right shoulder.

The action starts with Notre Dame-Miami and wraps up with Wisconsin-Minnesota at 4:30 p.m. ET on BTN/BTN2Go.
