BTN and BTN2Go will have live coverage Friday beginning at 11 a.m. ET of the University of Wisconsin press conference announcing Gary Andersen as the new head football coach. BTN2Go is a live 24/7 multi-platform extension of BTN that lets fans watch the TV network live wherever they are via the internet, mobile phone or tablet.

Andersen was officially hired as the Badgers' new coach Thursday, and will be formally introduced at Friday's news conference. He replaces Bret Bielema, who left the Badgers for Arkansas this month.  "I don't know if I can really have a word for how excited I am to be at Wisconsin and have this opportunity," Andersen said in a video on Wisconsin's website. "I know I'm humbled, I know I'm blessed." Watch the video below.

The 48-year-old coach posted a 26-24 mark in four seasons at Utah State, compiling a 16-13 mark in WAC play. He led the Aggies to bowls each of the past two seasons, guiding Utah State to a 41-15 victory over Toledo in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl on Saturday to cap an 11-2 season as WAC champion. The bowl trip in 2011 was Utah State?s first since 1997. Andersen groomed a dynamic quarterback at Utah State in Chuckie Keeton, a true dual threat.

BTN.com senior writer Tom Dienhart wrote about Anderson earlier this week when the news broke that he was coming to Wisconsin. "Unlike the departed Bret Bielema who needed to be groomed for the job," Dienhart wrote, "Andersen brings a strong background as a head coach to Wisconsin. But like Bielema-and Wisconsin A.D. Barry Alvarez-Andersen brings a defensive background to the job." Read the full story and see more photos here.
