Wisconsin fans are excited to have former coach and current AD Barry Alvarez on board to guide the Badgers in the 2013 Rose Bowl vs. Stanford. And who can blame them? Not only is Alvarez a school legend who made Wisconsin football relevant, he’s a perfect 3-0 in the Rose Bowl.

That’s terrific news for the Badgers, who have lost the last two Rose Bowls, to TCU and Oregon, respectively. This time around, Wisconsin fans are hopeful the team’s luck turns, evidenced by the creative “Let’s Barry Stanford” sign in the photo above.

Alvarez decided to coach the team after Bret Bielema surprised everyone by accepting the head coaching position at Arkansas on Wednesday, days after he led the Badgers past Nebraska in the Big Ten title game.
