While I could care less about BB leaving Wisconsin, it is amazing to me that he left for a program that in my humble opinion is not near the quality as Wisconsin’s. There is very little loyalty in today’s society so it should not surprise anyone. Barry will hire someone to carry on and with some of the rumors out there, it sounded like BB was not all that well respected in Wisconsin anyways. Would I let him coach the Rose bowl? Heck No; he chose his path and I am sure he could have accepted the position with a delayed announcement (after bowl game) but he and Ark both wanted the spotlight without regard to the players, fans or staff at Wisconsin. Show him the door and collect his $1m dollar buyout!

I think Barry Alvarez should not let him coach at the Rose Bowl. Urban Meyer at Ohio State
is definetly making a statement in the Big Ten by bringing his style of football and after beating bret at his own game. Bielema saw the hand writing on the wall and jumped ship
leaving Barry to hold the bag.

Yep I agree, not much class in leaving the Badgers before the rose bowl. Barry you coach that team cause then maybe they will have a chance at Stanford!!!!
Bret would not have won.
The sec will eat him alive. He is trying to get away from Meyer an them Buckeyes.

Barry, Coach the Rose Bowl with a staff coach and whoever is left making the game plan otherwise it may be a tough game. Barry could fire the team up for one more time! Most people don’t seem to care that Bret left for the Hog’s. find his quote about the SEc. Interesting… If he didn’t like things in the Big Ten with Urban Meyer, the SEC will eat him up!
Good luck, but not the way to leave if there is a good way.
