I played college sports before Title IX and shoestring budgets. Nebraska had all colleges play in one league, Nebraska was division 1 and my school and many others were NAIA. No scholarships or much support, your friends might come to the games. Nebraska Wesleyan did beat UNL in basketball my freshman year. I heard the mothers got together to make college sports available for their daughters.

Now the opportunities to play and in so many sports is terrific for women,. Thank you for you success and continuing support for Title IX.
