Six of the B1G teams have advanced to the regionals,. Ohio State is the only team to not advance. Nebraska will mee Washington, Penn State plays BYU, Purdue mets Minnesota and Michigan meets Michigan State (almost seems like a B1G weekend of matchups. Good luck to all B1G teams. The Regionals start Dec 7. Nebraska is playing in the Omaha Regional but check your local web site for the locationa and times.

Did you notice the NCAA brackets and the B1G teams. Nebraska is the only B1G team in their bracket. Michigan is thru to the regionals but if Michigan State wins tonight, Michigan and Michigan State will meet in the first round of Regionals. Penn State has the same situation with Ohio State and Purdue and Minnesota are the same way. Penn State, Ohio State, Purdue and Minnesota are all in the same bracket so if all B1G make it to the regional. So at best B1G could have three teams advance to the regionals, if the B1G teams win their regionals. Lots of good teams in the NCAA, Just a weird observation.

Thanks for the note. We had one contributor for men’s soccer and women’s volleyball this past season and supplement the other sports as best we can with the resources we have. We’re always evaluating the best way to provide some semblance of coverage for the Olympic sports, and generally rely on video to drive the posts. We point to the school sites in many instance because, frankly, they can cover their teams better. You may have notice at the bottom of the pages feeds from a variety of places that cover those sports better. We’ll get those up higher on the page soon. Having done this for five-plus seasons now and having deployed a variety of editorial approaches, we can tell you the appetite for Olympic sports content isn’t as high as one might think. That said, we’ll continue to do our best.

How many BTN writers are addressing the non-football sports, It seems like NCAA tournament status of the seven teams might be appropriate here. It isn’t just women’s sports but all olympic style sports. It seems like there is an occasional update but then there are october articles on many of these sports that are currently active. I know you have links to other sites but something small at least weekly would be appreciated.

Thanks for looking. I was in the bracket on NCAA.com and it says regional games and the prior page has the four regional sites but doesn’t label the brackets. Being from Nebraska I know they are playing in Omaha but it would be interesting to see where the other three sections of the bracket are playing. Oh well, thanks anyway.

Not sure. That’s on NCAA.com. There may be a list over there instead of a bracket too. Sorry we don’t have more info.

Is there a way to mark which section of the backet is at which regional site? I know Nebraska is moving on to Omaha but the NCAA bracket didn’t say, or did I just miss it? Thanks

The NCAA bracket keeps track of the set scores and active games have red boxes, completed games turn to a darker bluish grey. They only post names to the next bracket when all games are done but a neat way to keep up. Sometimes the brackets on sites are never updated but these are current and mark the date of the match. Nebraska was on the NET (PBS) so interesting to watch. UNI is a very aggressive team and I think Nebraska was expecting a rematch with Kansas State but won in three sets anyway. Go Lady Huskers.

elaine, check major sports networks like ESPN for the championship games. They are usually on one of the ESPN group of sports channels, check local listings if your favorite team is hosting the early gamesm sometimes they have rights to broadcast live, or their college team website for live streaming of the matches. good luck to you team. I am Husker fan so have fun cheering for your team.
