You say, you don’t want to say they gave us the win and they had a big lead. Did you watch the game? Rex fumbled without getting touched. Will that happen again in his life? probably not. A fake end around pass down field in first quarter. roughing the punter, new set of downs. so was it more Nebraska giving them the lead and taking it back, or do you really feel they played well enough to win the game without those incidents?

Let me re-state something that I failed to clearly do above. Ohio State cold have self imposed last year and then hoped that the NCAA would have accepted their self imposed bowl ban as being adequate and appropriate, thus satisfying the NCAA infractions committee. Yes, there would have been a risk that they (NCAA) could have come back and added more but I doubt they would have. Any ways; that water is already down the creek and I look forward to The Big Ten getting back to the days where it again dominates the CFB landscape. Its coming ~ because we all know everything is Cyclical.

I am not sure why Wisconsin would be getting any grief about representing the Leaders division as the rules were not changed mid season. Penn State and Ohio State both had their day to accept or appeal the punishment set forth by the NCAA this past year. While I recognize that Ohio State had a remarkable year, it was their AD who accepted the bowl ban and Big Ten ramifications during this season rather than last season. While we at Nebraska would love to replay Ohio State for the CCG (less our 4 turnovers = 28 pts), the fact remains that Wisconsin is deserving to be in this game as agreed upon by those in power at the institutions whom are otherwise serving out their penance.
