Meyer Motivates a staff and team with no chance of the post season and that went .500 last season and goes undefeated in conference and non conference. Turns FB Zachary Boren into a starting linebacker midway through the season. Loses his captain running back for the season and still beats Wisconsin and Penn State on the road and slaps Nebraska with 50+ points. Shuts out the team up North in the 2nd half without DEfensive Player of the year John Simon but doesn’t get coach of the year? Buckeyes head of the class again With decent players, wait until real football talent returns to Buckeye Nation, then it’s the same treatment Tressel got, it can’t be the coaching and mentoring it’s great players. Big ten and the nation better brace for the Urban sprawl.

Urban Meyer did a great job with Ohio State, no one is arguing that. But Bill O’Brein no doubt deserves that award. Dealing with everything that Penn State had to endure in recent months, especially losing great players, and still managing to have and 8-4 record is very impressive in my book

Evans (CB Nebraska), Will Comptin (MLB Nebraska), thats the only changes that I would make. The Nebraska secondary averages holding QB’s to a 43% completion rating. That is outstanding. So I believe Evans deserves some credit. By the way Brent Yarina, did you notice that you gave 11 players All BTN reconition from Penn State? Including a DE, a S, and all 3 LB’s. Shall I remind you that Nebraska beat Penn State through the PASSING GAME! Staffard should be at S, Will Comptin should be at MLB, Evans should be at DB, and Eric Marten deserves to be at DE.

Ryan Shazier is the best linebacker in this league. His stats and his clutch plays prove it. 115 tackles, 70 solo tackles, five sacks, 17 tackles for loss, 12 passes broken up and three forced fumbles including the one against Ball at the goal line. His pick 6 against McGloin drove sealed the win, Apparently, no one cares to research candidates before voting in this part of the country.
