Every Sunday during the college football season, BTN analyst Gerry DiNardo hits Twitter to share his thoughts from the previous day’s slate of games. What did DiNardo have to say about about the final week of the Big Ten regular season? Check out all of his Sunday Ruminations in this post.
Sunday Ruminations – Certainly more than 1 COY candidate this yr in B1G but you would have to have Pat Fitzgerald #Northwestern on list 9-3—

I was fortunate enough to attend the 1973 Sugar Bowl. As we were riding back to the stadium we were fortunate to meet your parents. I gave your Mom my seat and your Dad & I talked the whole way to the Sugar Bowl as we were out numbered by Bear Bryant look a likes 30 to 1. We heard the “Roll Tide” chant several times. As the bus stopped he asked me “Are you with me?” and we gave out a loud “Here go Irish here go!”. I wish the 2012 Fighting Irish the same luck you had with Alabama.
An observation: With all in the National and Big Ten media enamored with Ohio State’s perfect season, it needs to be noted that Nebraska has managed over two seasons to match the best records of two other conference teams and is going to the conference championship game in it’s second campaign.
For the record since entry into the Big Ten:
Michigan 12-4
Nebraska 12-4
Penn State 12-4
Ohio State 11-5
Mich State 10-6
Wisconsin 10-6

On the Football report – you question who would emerge as Ohio States Running Back?
Are you kidding – Carlos Hyde returns along with Rod Smith and Brionte Dunn
