Lindsey Moore scored 23 points, Jordan Hooper added 19 and No. 23 Nebraska used a late run to rally for a 74-65 victory over USC on Friday afternoon. Moore made just five field goals but was 13 of 15 from the line. Emily Cady chipped in 14 points for the Cornhuskers (5-1), who trailed 63-57 with 3:49 to play.

Menawhile, Maggie Lucas scored 22 of her 27 points in the second half and Ariel Edwards scored 19 of her career-high 24 points in the first half to help No. 6 Penn State hold off a pesky Detroit team 80-72 Friday in the Cal State Northridge tournament.

Also, Sam Ostarello had 15 points and 15 rebounds to help No. 14 Purdue beat Wake Forest 67-53 on Friday night in the Paradise Jam. Chantel Poston and Courtney Moses each added 11 points for the Boilermakers (5-0), who will face No. 2 Connecticut on Saturday night.
