Indiana topped Xavier, 4-1, and Northwestern shut out Marquette, 1-0, to advance to the third round. Michigan State and Michigan lost to Notre Dame and Akron, respectively. The first career hat trick for junior midfielder Nikita Kotlov came at an opportune time as the No. 16 seed Indiana men's soccer team posted a 4-1 win over Xavier in the second round of the NCAA Tournament Sunday afternoon on Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium. Indiana (12-5-3) will face No. 1 seed Notre Dame on Sunday, Nov. 25 in a third-round match in South Bend.

Northwestern 1, Marquette 0 BOX | RECAP
Northwestern freshman forward Joey Calistri tallied his team-leading ninth goal of the season in the 31st minute and that was all the Wildcats needed as they upset No. 7 seed Marquette in the second round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament Sunday night at Valley Fields.

Notre Dame 3, Michigan State 0 BOX | RECAP
Michigan State's impressive second-half run came to its conclusion on Sunday afternoon, as the Spartans fell at No. 1 Notre Dame, 3-0, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. MSU concludes its season with a 12-10-1 record.
