Last-minute check: Find your BTN game on TV

In this video, “Big Ten Football & Beyond” guest Pat Forde of Yahoo! Sports previews the Northwestern-Michigan State game, Russ Lande from “The Next Level” previews the Ohio State-Wisconsin game, BTN analyst Antwaan Randle El previews the Iowa-Michigan game, and Tony Banks from “The Big Ten Football Report” previews the  Minnesota-Nebraska game. Three football games are on BTN: Indiana-Penn State, Purdue-Illinois, and Minnesota Nebraska. We know it’s Week 12 but use our TV GameFinder page to find the TV channel for your game. Or just use the app in this post below.

To review: The “Extra Football Game Channels” come into play today for the two 3:30 p.m. ET games. The channels are only available to BTN during the 13 football Saturdays of the season because of capacity issues with our cable and satellite providers. The non-conference basketball season overlaps with dozens of other sporting events, including NHL, NBA and other regional football and basketball games. Therefore, our cable and satellite partners are unable to offer this space to us, even though our Extra Football Game Channels may still continue to appear on your channel guide. During the conference portion of the basketball season, the Big Ten schedules games in such a way where there is no need for “Extra Football Game Channels.”

I have a real problem that your not showing the Nebraska game in the Kansas City area. We are 3 hours from lIncoln and have a huge alumni base here. Why in the world are we bumped for Illinois vs Purdue? There is not Illinois base here in Kansas City. BTN really needs to do some research, is Nebraska always going to get bumped on Comcast in the future?

I live in southeast Michigan and am looking for the Illinois-Purdue game. The BTN GameFinder says it’s on comcast 692. It is on no BTN channel. The only game on any BTN channel is the Nebraska game. Anyway to fix this?!
