Montee Ball had a productive quarter for Wisconsin. He ran for 71 yards and one touchdown, but the margin is still seven, as the Badgers trail 14-7. Ball's touchdown, the 78th of his career, tied the FBS record, held by Travis Prentice.

Ohio State's Carlos Hyde ran for 22 yards and one touchdown in the quarter. The Buckeyes expanded their lead to 14-0 thanks to a seven-play, 69-yard drive that ended when Hyde ran 15 yards to paydirt.

An 82-yard drive that ended when Ball pounded in a seven-yard touchdown run helped Wisconsin narrow the deficit to 14-7. The Badgers went to the air just one time during that march downfield.

Wisconsin's Ball topped 100 yards rushing for the game in the quarter, and has plenty of time to add to his 111 total yards on the ground.

Ohio State will have possession to start the second half.
