Plus the running game has had multiple injuries and differing level of success. It is hard to be the quarterback when the entire offensive team experienced problems over the season. Don’t lay it all on Vandenberg. There has to be someone to receive the passes. The team had a rough year and injuries have caused a lot of issues for them. May they have a better year next year.
