Wisconsin ran for 173 yards in the quarter, and the Badgers now lead 41-7. The Badgers opened up the lead, 38-7, after Ball ran 49 yards to paydirt to end a two-play, 60-yard drive. Wisconsin added to its advantage when Kyle French made a 37-yard field goal, the last of a seven-play, 50-yard drive to give the Badgers the lead, 41-7. Wisconsin’s drive was keyed by Curt Phillips’ 52-yard run. The Badgers ran the ball on all six snaps on that drive.
Ball enters the fourth quarter with 198 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
Indiana is poised to score with the ball at Wisconsin’s 17-yard line to start the fourth quarter.
