Fair question, we do the best we can with the staff we have. We did more this year for men's soccer and volleyball with separate contributors for each sport. And we'll be adding some extra headlines modules for all sports on each sport page here shortly, powered by news wires from the schools. To be quite honest, in years past when we put a greater emphasis on the Olympic sports for entire season - and by that I mean game coverage for most events - the reader demand still wasn't there.
Why doesn't the BTN keep current blogs and information on the sites for Women's sports and other "Olympic" sports, Volleyball teams are some of the strongest in the nation and yet many of the links on these sites are old and out of date. There are two weeks left in the season and many of the B1G teams will be heading into the NCAA. This is one sport that is often doing better than the men's football teams.
