Purdue blitzes Newberry in exhibition finale

In the final tuneup before the regular season tips, the Purdue men's basketball team cruised to a 109-68 exhibition victory over  Newberry on Saturday night at Mackey Arena. Terone Johnson shot 8-of-10 from the field and scored 18 points, freshmen Rapheal Davis and Ronnie Johnson each tallied 16 and D.J. Byrd chipped in 11.
