Nebraska's Taylor Martinez threw for 55 yards and ran for 83 yards and one touchdown in the quarter, and the two teams are tied 14-14 at the end of the second. Michigan State broke the 7-7 stalemate when Andrew Maxwell and Tony Lippett combined for a 46-yard touchdown to cap a three-play, 80-yard scoring drive.

The Cornhuskers got even after Martinez kept it himself for a 71-yard touchdown run to end a two-play, 88-yard drive that tied the score at 14.

The Spartans' Le'Veon Bell rushed for 58 yards in the quarter to put him over 100 yards for the game. Bell has 116 total yards on the ground so far today.

Nebraska's Martinez hit 150 yards rushing for the game in the quarter, part of his 156-yard rushing performance thus far.

Michigan State will get the ball to start the second half.
