During Thursday?s Big Ten Basketball Media Day, I went around and asked one player from all 12 teams the following questions: 1. Toughest Big Ten road venue? 2. Favorite Big Ten player to watch? 3. Best Big Ten uniform? 4. Favorite Big Ten road trip?

Every Saturday night during the college football season, BTN.com web editor Brent Yarina hands out his weekly Big Ten Game Balls. The series is called ?U.S. Marines Corps: Leaders of the Week,? and it?s designed to spotlight the Big Ten?s top individual performances. Who took home the honors from Week 9?

8. Dienhart: 5 things I learned in Week 9
The Big Ten race continues to take shape, as nine weeks are in the books. A big story this week: Injuries at quarterback. Last week, Ohio State?s Braxton Miller left the game with a neck injury but returned to play well this Saturday. But now, Wisconsin lost Joel Stave for the season with a collarbone injury and Michigan saw Denard Robinson go down with a right elbow issue that he is supposed to rebound from next Saturday. Scary stuff. Here is what I learned this week.

Before we turn our attention to Week 10, we need to review how BTN.com fans, Tom Dienhart and yours truly did with our Week 9 predictions. It was a rough week for all involved, as BTN.com fans led the way with a 3-3 record. As a result, BTN.com fans tied Dienhart for the top spot in the season standings, at 54-20. I sit three games behind the pace.

6. Numbers: Stats, thrills add up for big Week 9
Last week generated some seriously thrilling endings in the Big Ten: Nebraska?s program record-tying fourth-quarter comeback against Northwestern; Michigan?s game-winning field goal in the waning seconds to end a four game skid against Michigan State; and Navy?s come-from-behind win over Indiana.

5. Dienhart: 'Huskers are in driver's seat'
This is what Bo Pelini had been waiting for: A big win. And that?s exactly what Saturday night?s 23-9 victory over Michigan was. Oh, Pelini has won some important games since taking over as Nebraska coach in 2008. One of my favorites was at the 2009 victory in the rain at Missouri.

4. Preseason No. 1 team delights at 'Hoosiers Hysteria'
Indiana held its ?Hoosier Hysteria? on Saturday night at Assembly Hall. Always a big draw, the event was even more anticipated this year as the Hoosiers, fresh off an impressive Sweet 16 season, are ranked No. 1 in several preseason national polls. The exciting Hoosiers did not disappoint the rabid Indiana faithful Saturday.

3. Week 9: We predict all six Big Ten games

2. Week 10 Power Rankings: How 'bout them Huskers?!
With another Saturday in the rear-view mirror, it?s time to take the temperature of the Big Ten. It was a tough week for the Leaders Division, with four of its six teams losing. And a new leader emerged in the Legends, as Nebraska continues to move up.

1. Dienhart: My Week 9 Big Ten bowl projections
Michigan further solidified its status as the Rose Bowl front-runner in the Big Ten with a third win in a row. This time, the Wolverines dumped Michigan State, 12-10, ending the Spartans? four-game winning skein in the series.
