Ohio State racked up 106 rushing yards in the third, and the Buckeyes now lead 28-10. Ohio State sniffed out Penn State's rushing attack in the quarter, holding the Nittany Lions to one rush yard. The Buckeyes are currently on a 14-point run.

Ohio State made the score 14-7 when Ryan Shazier intercepted a Matt McGloin pass and returned it for a touchdown.

Penn State closed the gap to 14-10 when Sam Ficken drilled a 27-yard field goal to finish off a 72-yard drive. The Nittany Lions' drive was keyed by McGloin's 44-yard pass to Brandon Moseby-Felder. Despite driving to the Buckeyes' three-yard line, Penn State had to settle for a field goal.

Ohio State made its lead 21-10 when Braxton Miller kept it himself for a one-yard touchdown run on the last play of a 10-play, 57-yard drive.

The Buckeyes opened up the lead, 28-10, after marching down the field for a seven-play, 85-yard drive that ended when Miller turned a quarterback sneak into a one-yard touchdown run.

The Nittany Lions' McGloin passed for 86 yards in the quarter to put him over 200 yards for the game. McGloin has 201 yards through the air so far today. Miller clinched a 100-yard rushing game with 49 in the quarter, part of his 108-yard day through three quarters for the Buckeyes.

Penn State has the ball on its own 36-yard line to begin the fourth quarter.
