Ohio State's Carlos Hyde ran for eight yards and one touchdown in the quarter, and the two teams are tied 7-7 at the end of the second. Penn State made the score 7-0 when Mike Hull returned a blocked punt for a touchdown.

The Buckeyes tied the game at seven after Hyde turned a handoff into a one-yard touchdown to end a 12-play, 75-yard drive. Ohio State threw just one time during that series.

The Nittany Lions are set to receive to start the second half.
