For the first time, BTN will provide full coverage of the Big Ten fall championships and tournaments, including live broadcasts during the 2012 Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament, Big Ten Men?s and Women?s Soccer Tournaments and delayed coverage of the Big Ten Men?s and Women?s Cross Country Championships.

Coverage of the quarterfinals for men?s and women?s soccer and field hockey will be streamed live for the first time on the Big Ten Digital Network (BTDN). The semifinals and finals for each event will be available on both BTN and BTN2Go.

The network will be in Bloomington, Ind., for the Big Ten Women?s Soccer Tournament. Live streamed coverage of the quarterfinal round will begin at 10:30 a.m. ET, followed by three more games at approximately 1:30 p.m. ET, 4:30 p.m. ET and 7:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Live coverage of the semifinal round will begin at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 2, with the second game to follow at approximately 12:30 p.m. ET. The championship game will air live at noon ET on Sunday, Nov. 4. Penn State, Michigan, and Ohio State are ranked No. 4, No. 24 and No. 25, respectively. Illinois will look to win its second-consecutive Big Ten Tournament title.

BTN will provide live coverage of the quarterfinals, semifinals and final of the Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament at Iowa. Live streamed coverage of the quarterfinal round will begin at noon ET on Thursday, Nov. 1, with the second and third games to follow at approximately 2:30 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. ET. Live coverage of the semifinal round will begin at 2:30 p.m. ET, with the second game to follow at approximately 5 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 2. The championship game will air live at 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 4. Six Big Ten teams appear in the latest national poll, including No. 5 Penn State, No. 8 Northwestern, No. 12 Iowa, No. 14 Michigan, No. 21 Michigan State and No. 24 Ohio State. The Nittany Lions seek their second-consecutive and sixth overall Big Ten Tournament title.

BTN also will provide live coverage of the quarterfinals, semifinals and final of the Big Ten Men?s Soccer Tournament, hosted by Northwestern. Live streamed coverage of the quarterfinals will begin at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 7, with the second and third games to follow at approximately 4:30 p.m. ET and 7 p.m. ET.  Semifinals will air live at 1 p.m. ET and approximately 3:30 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 9. The final will be carried live at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 11. Indiana is the Big Ten?s top-ranked team at No. 16, while Northwestern is the reigning tournament champion.

The network will offer delayed coverage of the Big Ten Cross Country Championships at 9 a.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 4. Michigan State will host the event on Sunday, Oct. 28. The Big Ten has three nationally ranked men?s teams, including No. 11 Michigan, No. 20 Wisconsin and No. 24 Indiana.  On the women?s side, four Big Ten teams are ranked in the top 30, including No. 7 Michigan, No. 13 Penn State, No. 15 Michigan State and No. 25 Minnesota. The Badgers have won the last 13 Big Ten men?s cross country titles, and will be seeking their 46th overall. The Spartans? women?s team will aim for a third-straight conference title.
