Penn State Shuts Out Ohio State 3-0
The No. 7 Penn State field hockey team continued its hunt for the Big Ten Championship Friday afternoon, defeating No. 21 Ohio State 3-0 for the fourth conference win of the season. The Nittany Lions, now 13-3 overall with a 4-1 mark in the Big Ten, currently rest atop the Big Ten standings. The No. 8 Northwestern field hockey team moved to 6-0 at home and 15-2 on the season as they defeated No. 20 Michigan Spartans 2-1.
With four goals in the second half, No. 4 Penn State cruised to their tenth straight victory as they defeated Michigan State 5-1.
The Ohio State men’s soccer team earned their sixth victory of the season as they defeated the Wright State Raiders 2-1.
The Hoosiers volleyball team dropped the first set, but went on to take the next three as they earned their second conference win of the season by defeating the Badgers 25-19,2 25-17, 30-28, 25-21.
The No. 1 Minnesota Golden Gophers women’s hockey team remains unbeaten on the season as they defeated the #8 Ohio State Buckeyes 7-2.
