Keenan Reynolds had a productive quarter for Navy. He threw for 25 yards and ran for 14 yards and one touchdown, but the Midshipmen have closed the gap to 20-14. Navy capped a 69-yard drive when Reynolds kept it himself for a two-yard touchdown run to make the score 10-7. The Midshipmen, on that possession, exploited a tired defensive line, running on 10 of 11 plays.

Indiana opened up the lead, 17-7, after marching down the field for a 16-play, 72-yard drive that ended when D'Angelo Roberts pounded in a three-yard touchdown run.

Navy made the score 17-14 when Jordan Drake intercepted Cameron Coffman's pass and returned it for a touchdown.

The Hoosiers expanded their lead to 20-14 thanks to a 12-play, 63-yard drive that ended when Mitch Ewald made a 23-yard field goal. Indiana ran just one time during that march downfield.

The Midshipmen will get the ball to start the second half.
