IU coaches profiled on 'Women's Report'

Dara McIntosh, Kara Lentz, and Michelle McMahon appear on Friday’s “The Big Ten Women’s Sports Report” at 2:30 p.m. ET and bring you a profile on current Indiana women’s soccer coach Mick Lyon and his wife Elizabeth. Both suffer from multiple sclerosis but continue to fight it and have a positive outlook on life. (Update: Watch the feature in this post.) Also Friday, Big Ten volleyball and field hockey highlights, analysis and breakdowns as well as a look at the latest “Midnight Madness” events for women’s basketball.

On Thursday night, Ohio State’s Tiffany Cameron and the Buckeyes beat No. 17 Michigan 3-1. Cameron scored her 14th goal of the season to set an Ohio Stat single-season record. Northwestern scored two late goals including a clincher with four seconds left as the Wildcats topped Illinois on Thursday. Northwestern is now NU 5-10-2, 1-8-0 in the Big ten while Illinois moves to 7-7-2, 4-4-1 in the Big Ten. Read more at NUsports.com and watch the highlight below.

Michelle McMahon does a great job as an volleyball analyst on the Big Ten Womens’ show. She is always very knowledgable and concise in her analysis. It was always great to see her play volleyball for Michigan (although she didn’t get to play often). Best of luck in future endeaors Michele
