Ohio State's Carlos Hyde ran for 24 yards and scored his third touchdown of the game in the third quarter, and the Buckeyes lead 49-31. Nebraska has given up 14 straight points. The Cornhuskers made the score 35-31 after Taylor Martinez tossed a three-yard touchdown to Ben Cotton to finish off a 77-yard drive.

Ohio State expanded its lead to 42-31 thanks to a 10-play, 75-yard drive that ended when Hyde pounded in a one-yard touchdown run. The Buckeyes' drive was keyed by Braxton Miller's 35-yard pass. Ohio State made the score 49-31 when Corey Brown returned a punt for a touchdown.

Nebraska's Kenny Bell hauled in three catches for 53 yards in the quarter to put him over 100 yards receiving for the game. Bell has 127 yards on the day so far.

The Cornhuskers' Rex Burkhead topped 100 yards rushing for the game in the quarter, but he re-injured his left knee in the quarter and hasn't returned.

The Buckeyes have possession at the Cornhuskers' 48-yard line to start the fourth quarter.
