Le'Veon Bell ran for 33 yards and one touchdown in the second quarter, but Indiana still leads Michigan State, 27-14, at halftime. Indiana aired it out in the quarter, finishing with 84 passing yards. The Hoosiers have scored 10 unanswered points.

Michigan State polished off a 75-yard drive when Bell pounded in a two-yard touchdown run to make the score 17-7. The Spartans made the score 17-14 after Andrew Maxwell and Larry Caper combined for a 15-yard touchdown to finish off a 65-yard drive.

Indiana opened up the lead, 27-14, after marching down the field for a 14-play, 75-yard drive that ended when Cameron Coffman and Shane Wynn hooked up for a 16-yard touchdown.

The Hoosiers' Coffman passed for 84 yards in the quarter to put him over 200 yards for the game. Coffman has 256 yards through the air so far today.

Michigan State will get the ball to start the second half.
