Nebraska's Taylor Martinez threw for 82 yards and one touchdown and ran for 44 yards and one touchdown in the quarter, and the two teams are tied 27-27 at the end of the third. The Cornhuskers have scored 17 straight points.

Wisconsin opened up the lead, 27-10, after Montee Ball ran two yards to paydirt to end a four-play, 13-yard drive. The Badgers began the drive with good field position after Wisconsin recovered a fumble.

Nebraska made the score 27-17 after Martinez kept it himself for a 38-yard touchdown run to finish off a 77-yard drive.

The Cornhuskers closed the gap to 27-24 when Martinez found Kyler Reed open for a 10-yard touchdown pass to clinch a 75-yard drive.

Nebraska got even after Brett Maher kicked a 38-yard field goal to end a seven-play, 47-yard drive that tied the score at 27.

The Badgers will start the fourth quarter with possession at midfield.
