Northwestern's offense looked sharp in the third quarter, scoring 17 points, and the Wildcats now lead 37-21. Northwestern threw for 126 yards and ran for 132 yards in the quarter. The Wildcats' four big plays, including Trevor Siemian's 36-yard pass to Tony Jones, sparked the offense in the quarter.

Northwestern made its lead 27-0 when Kain Colter kept it himself for a 15-yard touchdown run on the last play of a seven-play, 75-yard drive.

A 75-yard drive that ended when Stephen Houston pounded in a 20-yard touchdown run helped Indiana narrow the deficit to 27-7. The Hoosiers made the score 27-14 after Nate Sudfeld threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Kofi Hughes to finish off a 64-yard drive.

The Wildcats opened up the lead, 34-21, after marching down the field for a seven-play, 75-yard drive that ended when Venric Mark turned a handoff into a one-yard touchdown.

Northwestern expanded its lead to 37-21 thanks to a nine-play, 69-yard drive that ended when Jeff Budzien kicked a 30-yard field goal. The Wildcats' Colter topped 100 yards receiving for the game in the quarter, and has plenty of time to add to his 103 yards and seven catches.

Northwestern's Mark rushed for 47 yards in the quarter to put him over 100 yards for the game. Mark has 121 total yards on the ground so far today.

The Wildcats' Siemian reached the 200-yard passing mark for the game thanks to 124 in the quarter, and currently sits with 280 yards in all.

Hughes clinched a 100-yard receiving game with 67 yards in the quarter, part of his five-catch, 108-yard day through three quarters for Indiana.

The Hoosiers have possession at Northwestern's 35-yard line to start the fourth quarter.
