His backups, Abdullah, Heard and Cross have looked very, very good, giving the Huskers a deep rb position. Rex won’t have to carry such a heavy load this year as last and hopefully he gets back to full speed shortly. Pretty nice per carry average on the year, something around 17 yds per carry on just 11 carries.
