Penn State's secondary stifled the passing game allowing just 12 yards through the air to Temple in the third quarter, and the Nittany Lions now lead 21-6. Penn State made it 21-3 when Matt McGloin turned a quarterback sneak into a two-yard touchdown run on the last play of an 11-play, 80-yard drive.

The Owls made the score 21-6 after Brandon McManus kicked a 42-yard field goal to finish off a 30-yard drive.

The Nittany Lions have possession on their own 37-yard line to start the fourth quarter.
