Written by BTN.com staffPenn State expanded its lead to 14-3 thanks to a two-play, 35-yard drive that ended when Matt McGloin kept it himself for a two-yard touchdown run. Jesse Della Valle’s punt return set the Nittany Lions up to start the drive.
Penn State’s McGloin reached the 200-yard passing mark for the game thanks to 99 in the quarter, and currently sits with 213 yards in all.
Temple will have possession to start the second half.
