Written by BTN.com staffBig Ten Field Pass on BTN2Go is fast becoming a must-watch event each week, and we’re doing it again on Saturday. BTN Field Pass is when BTN turns on a BTN TV camera one hour before kickoff at a selected Big Ten football game, and it let’s you see the home team’s football stadium and all that goes on before the game starts live on the Internet.
We’ve done it at Ohio State, Iowa, and Michigan in previous weeks and got great Internet-only looks at the bands, the cheerleaders and the players warming up. We even give the fans a chance to practice their crazed yelling so they’re ready for when the game starts and our TV audience tunes in. Where will we be this week?
This week, we open up the Field Pass at Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is 3:30 p.m. ET on BTN/BTN2Go so the camera goes on at 2:30 p.m. ET. Remember, TV viewers can also use our GameFinder page to find the game on our TV system.
To be clear: This live video is only be available online at BTN2Go at 2:30 p.m. ET, so be sure you have access to that ahead of time (more details on BTN2Go here). If you’re watching from home, tune in online and see what the Field Pass captures live from Lincoln.

why do you need your cable provider! its called to go! i just bought a membership and i cant do nothing!
Scott, that sounds a little confusing because BTN2Go doesn’t sell memberships domestically. Are you subscribing outside of the U.S.? BTN2Go International is a digital extension of the Big Ten Network that delivers live and on-demand programming to subscribers outside the US, Canada and select Caribbean Islands, via the web, smartphone and tablets.
However, if you’re in the U.S. If you get BTN on TV AND your TV provider offers BTN2Go, then you can take your BTN with you. There’s more information here. You can also email btn2gosupport@btn.com any more questions. They’ll be better equipped to answer them..
