I am a big fan of Burkhead and my 2 grandkids have jerseys with #22 on them, BUT I think he needs to really heal so he can play in the tougher games. We have a whole lot of games left. GO BIG RED! Native Cornhusker and proud of it!

He can get his reps in practice. Even against Wisconsin, I would split the reps with Abdullah until it looks like he is able to take the wear and tear as a primary back.

no way, we have a long season ahead, at best one set of downs should be enough, but still risky though.

PLAY SHOULD BE LIMITIED. WOULD LIKE TO SEE REX A LITTLE ,TO GET READY FOR THE HEAVY CONFERENCE RUN. 5 TO 6 CARRIES WOULD BE NICE TO SEE HOW HE HOLDS UP AGAINST SOME HITS. !!!

I believe Rex has been cleared by the doctors. I think Rex understands how important he is in the game dynamics at Neb and will use sound judgment if he sees any snaps. I believe Bo and the coaching staff have full confidence in him to make the right choice through out the game. I do not see them using him extensively maybe 10-12 snaps.
