3rd Quarter Recap: Wisconsin 16, Utah State 14
At one point Wisconsin trailed by 11 points, but the Badgers have come back to take a 16-14 lead at the end of the third quarter. Wisconsin made the score 14-10 when Kenzel Doe returned a punt for a touchdown. Montee Ball’s 17-yard touchdown run gave the Badgers the lead 16-14 after a six-play, 43-yard drive. Wisconsin started in good field position when the Badgers returned a punt. Wisconsin didn’t throw a single time on that drive.
The Badgers gave up only 20 passing yards during the quarter. Utah State has given up 13 straight points.
The Badgers’ Ball topped 100 yards rushing for the game in the quarter, and has plenty of time to add to his 115 total yards on the ground.
Wisconsin will start the fourth quarter with possession on the Aggies’ 47-yard line.
